Résumé

Chad est le fils d'une militaire et d'un biologiste. Au moment de l'épidémie il a pris soin de ses parents jusqu'à leurs mort avant d'accompagner Eden dans son inquisition contre les adultes pour qu'elle ne soit pas la seule à se salir les mains. Il réalise qu'il veut sauver les connaissances de l'Humanité et il quitte son amie d'enfance qui ne verrait pas ce retournement de veste du bon oeil.
Depuis, il se fait appeler Thot. Il juge les gens qu'il estime digne d'aide, les autres devenant très souvent des gens à éliminer. Il n'a aucun remord à tuer quelqu'un s'il estime cela juste. Il ne cherche pas vraiment à devenir ami et se déplace très souvent entre les zones.
